Unapologetic, Irreverent, and Deeply Personal
A Mad Fine Story
Founder Sophie Flack launched Mad Fine on Mother's Day 2023 with designs inspired by the abortion pills.
She realized that if we all live a little bit more transparently, if we wear objects that are ordinarily kept hidden, like the things we keep in medicine cabinets, and instead put them out there, on display to be worn with pride, we could help eradicate outdated social stigma, and create organic social connections.
The debut collection which benefitted the National Network of Abortion Funds, was met with resounding enthusiasm, and featured in The Strategist as one of Amanda Seyfried’s “Must Have” picks.
Mad Fine’s sophomore collection featured carved gemstones with an uncanny resemblance to popular mental heath medications and a portion of proceeds was donated to Fountain House, whose mission is to end stigma and support those living with serious mental illness.
In 2024 Mad Fine expanded their offerings to include collections featuring whimsical emblems of radical self-acceptance.
The diamond pavé ‘ADHD Nameplate Necklace’ appeared on Justin Theroux and Antoni Perowski in multiple glossies and even appeared on the small screen.
We have some exciting things up our sleeves, but we’ll always remain steadfast in our values, our unapologetic perspective, and our partnerships with impactful, mission-aligned nonprofits who help move the needle towards a more socially just world.
